NUS Arts Festival 2016 presented by NUS Centre For The Arts

Zariya: a medium; a means to an end. Inspired by a dramatic adaptation of Sanskrit literature and Hindu scriptures, classic texts which form the foundations of Indian civilisation, with Zariya we (as NUS Indian Dance - Bollywood) attempted to meld the classic and the contemporary to show the enduring relevance of these sacred texts today. The richness of folk, infused with a touch of modernity, was mounted on a Bollywood canvas of street theatre for this production.
